Woden's Folk is now a Teaching Order, restructured in order to get our message out to the English Folk, and to European Folk wherever they dwell. The aim is not to get away from this society and let everyone else rot, but to try to awaken as many of our people as we can to the dire peril they are in as a Race. This has to be done at an Esoteric Level since the problem lies in a spiritual sickness that has engulfed the world. Only a Spiritual Revolution will set this right, and only a Spiritual Movement will get us through this, the darkest period of the Cycle of the Ages.
We need to know who we are as a Folk-Nation, and thus preserve our National Identity, our Culture and our Tradition. Thus we look back in order to do so, but looking back will not take us forwards into the future. Here we need to cultivate an ARYAN CONSCIOUSNESS by which we recognise our origins, but also our destiny as a Folk. The Aryan Race once existed as the Ancient Solar Race, and will exist in the future as the Solar Race of God-Men. The aim is the accelerated evolution of those within the Race to overcome themselves and to raise themselves to a higher level and a Higher Order.
Civic Nationalism was a word created in order to take people away from the idea of Racial Nationalism, towards a more 'Global' or 'Universal' idea of a fictitious 'human race'. Racial Nationalism, in the main, used the motto 'RACE & NATION' which moved away from narrow-minded nationalism, which has taken our Folk into two world wars. Today this is being replaced by 'Ethnic Nationalism', and thus back to the same narrow-minded nationalism we had before. On the other hand there has arisen a drive towards 'Tribalism' which is healthy, but only when considered as a 'Tribe' within a 'Nation', within a 'Folk'.
The Gods care about their creation, and they guide us towards helping and aiding our Folk in these disastrous times. I have to be in this society since there is a duty and a responsibilty to help as many as we can to awaken to what is going on, but at the same time I am not of this society because it is the polar opposite to what a healthy and good society should be. Self-Sacrifice is of a far higher order than self-preservation, the latter being the role of the 'ego' and the 'intellect' which is something we need to become master of, and to transmute into the Absolute I. I see our role as Folkish Heathens to show the way for others to follow, and to do so we need to get out to as many people as we can. We can do only what we are able to do, and in the knowledge that few will listen and many will not. However, as I see things today in speaking to others out there, many are now beginning to see that 'Democracy' and the political parties are failing to listen to them, and recognising that soon many will turn to the 'extremes' - as they have always done in such a case. This is why I reject any moves to 'water down' what we have to say, nor to back off to attacks upon us by our enemies.
True 'Tribalism' is formed from a 'Brotherhood' and that means those who have a shared destiny, shared doctrine & ideology, and shared ideals. This must be based upon self-sacrifice for the whole, on honour and loyalty between kinfolk; those that build in themselves an ethos of self-preservation rather than self-sacrifice will jeopardise any form of community when it is formed!
It is so easy to be critical of others, but so very, very hard to be critical of oneself. To KNOW THYSELF means to recognise that we have negative traits that can be changed - allowing the ego to stop us from recognising these faults means nothing will change. This is the basis of training in the Magical Arts, to be able to look within in order to change the outer. How can we make change to the world when we cannot even change ourselves?
Woden's Folk promotes a new Folk-Religion based upon a totally new concept of religion, a new religion suited to a New Aeon. The 'Age of the Hanged God' is dead and gone - the 'Age of the Crowned and Conquering Son' has dawned. Rather than a god hung in subjugation, defeat and death - a 'God of Slaves' - there arises a 'New God' who is 'Crowned', who 'Conquers', who comes to 'Avenge' - a 'God of Masters'. Woden is resurrected as Wid-Ar the Silent - 'silent' because manifestation can only happen in 'silence', and Wid-Ar is the 'God who Returns', he is the Coming God.
